| ICARE is the first International
Freediving Center directely affiliated to AIDA
International. Its focus is to promote and to develop freediving education
and recognition by teaching AIDA standards courses with experienced AIDA
Intructors. ICARE is seated in the Olympic City of Lausanne (Switzerland), but also teach courses all around the World if needed. Courses could be organized during all the year, following requests. |

| ICARE issues every year awards
to a certain number of recognized representatives in following various categories,
with representation currently in existence in some sports and artistic endeavours,
the idea is to promote and obtain recognition for our sport. In order to give popular significance to these awards, and to reflect as much of the general opinion of the freediving community as possible, nominations and elections proceed as follows : |
| NOMINATIONS | |
| From January 1st to November 15th each year,
anyone interested may submit a recommendation for nomination,
with a brief argument, to ICARE's office by mail or by
email. "Spams nominations" will not be taken in consideration. ICARE's office then selects the four best nominations for each category, according to numbers of nominations and interest in the proposals received, regarding specifical criterias by category. By category, these four nominations will then be submitted for election. |

| ELECTIONS | |
From November 16th to December 15th each
year, any interested individual may participate in the
elections in writing, pursuant to the |
|
| COUNTING OF THE VOTES & RESULTS | |
| The counting of the votes will be done by ICARE,
in the presence and under control of two neutral people who o not belong
to the association. Circulation of the final results and allocation of awards will be done between December 15th and 25th each year. Given to the human criteria and abstracts that determine the results, as well as the absence of any material or financial issues, any recourse or claims with regards to these results are excluded. |
